We made it! Avery is 1 year old!!! Avery is becoming such a fun little girl. At her 1 year well check she weighed 20lbs (32nd percentile) and was in the 76th percentile for height. She is starting to understand us when we give her basic commands and will point at the correct person when we ask her where they are...such as, "where is daddy?". She loves to brush her hair (and mine), she loves Elmo and TV for that matter. She always dances when music comes on and it so funny! Avery is not talking very much yet but we are working on it every day. She will say mama and dada and sometimes we think she is associating it with us but not always.
We visited our friends from Little Rock, Jessica and Drew one Saturday and Avery met Fuller who is 3 weeks older than her for the first time. We all had a great time!
Grandma Linda and Buddy were also in town for her birthday and we had a great time spending time with them for a few days.
Avery is wearing size 12m clothing, size 3 shoe, and still in size 3 diapers. Her hair is really starting to grow and fill in and is getting really curly in the back!
